The cold air balloons can be utilized to support a variety of Touchstone Energy Cooperative events or activities, such as:
The Touchstone Energy cold air balloons have significant versatility for use. The balloons are less restricted in use by weather or time of day conditions which may inhibit the use of our hot air balloons.
The Touchstone Energy cold air balloons offer a low cost alternative to promoting Touchstone Energy through a dynamic, multidimensional, mobile billboard. The massive size, brilliant colors and innovative balloon design draw public and media attention wherever the balloons are displayed. Economical to rent on a daily or weekly basis, a cold air balloon can be easily packaged and shipped to a Touchstone Energy Cooperative for on site inflation and display. Once the balloons are tied down, inflation only takes a few minutes. When an event is over, the balloons can be easily deflated, packaged and shipped in reusable packaging crates.

The cold air balloons are constructed out of heavily coated nylon and are manufactured by Lindstrand Balloons of Galena, Illinois, one of the leading manufacturers of cold and hot air balloons. The cold air is available in a 10 foot model. The Touchstone Energy cold air balloons are impressive replicas of the Touchstone Energy hot air balloon.
