The Touchstone Energy cold air balloon program consists of inflatable tied down cold air balloons which promote Touchstone Energy Cooperatives. The cold air balloons are constructed out of heavily coated nylon and are manufactured by Lindstrand Balloons of Galena, Illinois, one of the leading manufacturers of cold and hot air balloons. The cold air is available in a 10 foot model. The Touchstone Energy cold air balloons are impressive replicas of the Touchstone Energy hot air balloon. The cold air balloons proudly display the colorful Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives logo on three sides of the balloons. Wherever the balloons are displayed, they promote the brand and values of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives: providing service with integrity, accountability, innovation and commitment to community.
The Touchstone Energy cold air balloons offer a low cost alternative to promoting Touchstone Energy through a dynamic, multidimensional, mobile billboard. The massive size, brilliant colors and innovative balloon design draw public and media attention wherever the balloons are displayed. Economical to rent on a daily or weekly basis, a cold air balloon can be easily packaged and shipped to a Touchstone Energy Cooperative for on site inflation and display. Once the balloons are tied down, inflation only takes a few minutes. When an event is over, the balloons can be easily deflated, packaged and shipped in reusable packaging crates. The Touchstone Energy cold air balloons have significant versatility for use. The balloons are less restricted in use by weather or time of day conditions which may inhibit the use of our hot air balloons. We also offer 10' cold air balloons for sale. Several cooperatives around the country have purchased them and find occasions to use them often. |
